Job Summary

Constellation Home Electronics is seeking a skilled AV Installation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for setting up and installing a wide range of audiovisual equipment, including video surveillance cameras, home networking systems, home audio systems, light control sensors, home automation systems, motorized shades, and home theaters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure audiovisual equipment, including video surveillance cameras, home networking systems, and home audio systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a high level of satisfaction with our installations.
  • Run thorough video, audio, and signal testing to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust AV systems as needed to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform electronic repair, installation, and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure timely and efficient completion of installations.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in AV installation and setup.
  • Low voltage installation skills and knowledge of audio/video installation and wire management.
  • Network and audio cable termination skills, as well as computer skills and network setup and configuration experience.
  • CCTV installation and NVR setup experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and basic low voltage tools.
  • Crestron, Control4, Lutron, Savant, RTI, or URC install, setup, and programming knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, climb, balance, kneel, reach, grasp, and occasionally sit.
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in a typical office environment and at customers' sites.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods of time to travel to customer sites.
  • Clarity of vision, including the ability to appropriately differentiate colors.
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
