Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AV Installation Technician & Programmer to join our team at Constellation Home Electronics. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for setting up and installing a wide range of audiovisual equipment, including video surveillance cameras, home networking, home audio systems, light control sensors, home automation systems, motorized shades, and home theaters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure audiovisual equipment, including video surveillance cameras, home networking, and home audio systems.
  • Program and troubleshoot AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform electrical wiring and basic construction tasks as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete installation projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of AV experience.
  • Low voltage installation skills.
  • Audio/Video Installation and Wire Management experience required.
  • Network and Audio Cable termination skills required.
  • Computer skills, network setup and configuration experience required.
  • CCTV Installation and NVR set up experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and basic low voltage tools.
  • Crestron, Control4, Lutron, Savant, RTI, or URC install, setup and programming knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and reference check.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, climb, balance, kneel, reach, grasp, and occasionally sit.
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods of time to travel to customer sites.
  • Clarity of vision including the ability to appropriately differentiate colors.
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
