Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Regulatory Capital Team as an AVP of Financial Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and on-going calculation and reporting of risk-weighted assets, capital, leverage, and SCCL Large Exposures for Barclays IHC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Manage the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements and other accounting records in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks and report on these risks to senior colleagues.
  • Develop and implement up-to-date financial policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective financial practices across the organization.
  • Manage the selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and software applications.
  • Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory reports to authorities and provide support to other departments in their preparation and review of regulatory reports.
