Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed psychologist with experience in working with pediatric and adult populations in an outpatient clinical setting. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide services to specific populations and presenting concerns, with opportunities for outreach services and program development.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic interviews to identify current needs of patients
  • Select, administer, score, and interpret psychological tests and complete psychological assessments
  • Assess patients and make recommendations on the need for or modifications of therapeutic activities
  • Conduct individual and group psychotherapy, including specialized areas of treatment such as trauma-informed CBT and family counseling
  • Consult with medical personnel regarding patients' mental health status
  • Write reports regarding patient progress and competency
  • Participate in treatment team, staff, and professional meetings
  • Participate in training programs as a supervisor for trainees
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines
  • Initiate, design, collaborate, and report on psychological research or program evaluation
  • Present on behavioral health topics to individuals in the community

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is dependent upon qualifications and experience, with a minimum of $90,000 per year. Additional benefits for full-time staff include healthcare, short-term disability, flexible health spending and dependent care accounts, 401(K) with employer match, paid time off, holiday pay, paid maternity/paternity leave, reimbursement for continuing education expenses, and reimbursement for annual professional license fees.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in psychology or a Doctor of Psychology degree
  • Licensed by the North Dakota State Board of Psychologist Examiners and in good standing with no restrictions
  • Experience with conducting pediatric neurocognitive and psychoeducational assessments and providing trauma and family counseling
  • Compassionate and sensitive to patients' needs and concerns
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
