Key Responsibilities- Greet patients and escort them to clinical areas, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Assist with patient check-in, obtaining and documenting vital signs, medical history, and ordered tests.
- Prepare patient records, including consent forms, ABNs, and PHI releases, and update electronic medical records as needed.
- Administer injections, dispense medications, and document patient interactions and treatments.
- Coordinate patient care and follow-up, communicating with healthcare providers, labs, and insurance plans as necessary.
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and test results in the medical record.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting.
- Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
- Computer skills and data entry experience.
- Ability to obtain accurate patient vitals and administer vaccines and medications.
- Minimum one year of experience as an LPN.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Phlebotomy and EKG experience.
This role requires medium to heavy physical effort, with the ability to exert up to 35 pounds of force. The working environment is generally pleasant, with minimal occupational risk.
