  • Must possess a license and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State.
  • Must have two years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience, including one year providing direct services to individuals diagnosed with mental illness, developmental disabilities, addiction, or substance use disorders in a community setting.
  • Substitution: A bachelor's degree in nursing may substitute for one year of general post-licensure clinical nursing experience; a master's degree in nursing may substitute for two years of general post-licensure clinical nursing experience.
