Quality Engineer Senior Job Description

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Engineer Senior to support the Precision Fires QA Development Group in Grand Prairie, TX. This position involves working with an integrated team to identify, trend, and resolve non-conformances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program Management to ensure quality standards are implemented and met.
  • Provide technical data in support of engineering investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Develop and review quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures for inspecting manufactured and procured products.
  • Perform data integrity reviews and investigations, and contribute to Corrective Action Board meetings.
  • Drive closure to nonconformance reports and provide technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters.
Requirements:
  • STEM degree at bachelor's level or higher, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Previous quality experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques, engineering requirements, and inspection methods.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board).
  • Experience solving complex problems associated with the quality of products and in Quality Management processes.
