Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Butler America Aerospace, LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation to ensure the delivery of high-quality systems.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement system solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design, develop, and test system components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design specifications and test plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our systems remain competitive and innovative.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on modeling and simulation.
  • Proficiency in C++ programming and experience with Linux environments.
  • Desirable skills include proficiency with Python, Matlab, and scripting languages such as Bash, as well as experience in Guidance, Navigation, and/or Controls disciplines.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
