Job Overview

Davidson Group HR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for building and executing business contract and sourcing controls related to our procurement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage our strategic sourcing system and related procurement activities, ensuring consistent treatment based on established organizational practices and requirements.
  • Act as internal administrator for all sourcing efforts, including recommendation and implementation of efficiency improvements.
  • Lead comprehensive negotiations with suppliers, including terms, price, operation standards, and other performance requirements.
  • Create and maintain our review process for all business and customer contracts, reviewing each contract for accuracy and completeness.
  • Responsible for retaining all fully executed customer and vendor contracts and integrating the details of each contract into our financial system.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable and book-related entries in our general ledger system.
  • Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions, interacting with customers to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Conduct account research and analysis for financial planning and analysis purposes, including month-over-month analysis of revenue.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; graduate degree a plus.
  • 3-5 years' experience in accounting and finance, specifically in contract review, invoicing, collections, and revenue/cash applications.
  • At least two years' experience, with demonstrated success, administering business contract processes and controls in a fast-growing, small to mid-sized company.
  • Expert user knowledge of standard procurement practices; previous experience developing and implementing such practices is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers.
  • Proven ability to develop financial analysis and modeling and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and deliver clear and concise information to management.
  • The flexibility and versatility to be able to grow with the position, as the organization grows from the pre-market, product-building stage to a go-to-market state.
  • Previous experience working with multiple external partners, as well as distributed teams working across the US.
