Job Summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced Environmental Senior Project Manager to lead our Environmental group in New York State. This individual will manage, direct, and supervise the work efforts of assigned staff and coordinate the technical and managerial direction provided by Management regarding scope, schedule, quality, and budget of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, fostering collaboration and open communication.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, driving business growth and expansion.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, promoting professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or related field from an accredited higher education institution.
  • 10+ years of professional experience leading projects and facilitating teams within the Environmental Engineering field.
  • Prior experience as a Project Manager in the Consulting field is preferred.
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification is preferred.
  • 8-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Supervisor Certification is helpful.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Safety & Health Standards for Construction is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
