Construction Electrical Project Manager

Job Summary:
The Construction Electrical Superintendent will lead the electrical construction team to deliver high-quality, safe, and on-schedule renewable energy projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and communication skills to foster great client relationships, develop employees, and oversee project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site leadership for the project team, building and motivating team members to meet project goals and adhere to responsibilities and project milestones.
- Lead and enforce safety policies and procedures, addressing non-compliance among employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Execute the project using the Quality Management System, performing or overseeing fundamental project management practices such as construction progress tracking, progress and financial forecasting, document management, problem-solving, dispute resolution, design troubleshooting, and value engineering.
- Set, communicate, and enforce production goals and schedules with subcontractors.
- Lead the development of the project schedule with the Project Manager and ensure the team executes to the plan, developing a derivative four-week lookahead schedule that facilitates the project's daily progress and communicates it to all, balancing resources to ensure the schedule is met.
- Work to beat the project cost budget, implementing effective cost controls over subcontractors, material, equipment, and other related expenditures.
- Train the Project Team on planning, surveying, plan reading, productivity, efficiency, economical crew size, quality workmanship, and safety to ensure projects are constructed expeditiously and profitably.
- Utilize daily huddles to promote communication, resolve issues, and share ideas, ensuring projects are constructed expeditiously and profitably.
- Review all Foremen's and Daily Reports as well as Subcontractor's Daily Reports for accurate hours, time coding, production quantities, and activity summaries.
- Know the key terms and conditions of the Prime Contract with the Owner and the key operational details of the subcontract, holding subcontractors accountable to their agreement and the company's standards.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of relevant construction industry experience, with progressively greater responsibility.
- ~4+ years overseeing self-perform work with several crews totaling 20 craft persons and equipment operators or more, prior experience as a Foreman and/or Master Electrical License a plus.
- ~Successfully led relatively complex construction projects with diverse scopes and aggressive timelines.
- ~Expert knowledge of various areas of construction (electrical, earthwork, utilities, structures, mechanical, etc.).
- ~Working Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, P3/P6 Primavera software.
- ~Ability to travel and/or temporarily relocate to project construction sites every 3-12 months throughout your region of the United States.
- ~Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
