Job Description:

This role involves providing overnight support and care to residents in our group home setting. The successful candidate will ensure the safety, well-being, and comfort of residents throughout the night, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and medication administration.
  • Respond to any medical or behavioral needs that may arise during the night, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Promote social interaction, participation in recreational activities, and skill-building opportunities within the group home.
  • Document observations, incidents, and interventions accurately and promptly in resident records.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for residents.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with IDD or in a similar caregiving role preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Reliable and responsible, with ability to work independently.
