Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other educators to design and implement curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners.
  • Monitor and report on children's progress, identifying areas of strength and need for support.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred.
  • Must meet Maryland Licensing qualifications for an Infant/Toddler or Preschool Teacher, including completion of the MSDE 90 clock hour course.
  • At least six months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu.
