Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to join our team at Roland Park Country School. As a key member of our Early Childhood Education team, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our young students in a student-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and supportive classroom community, maintaining a clean and organized learning space that promotes engagement and exploration.
  • Teaching and Learning Support: Collaborate with lead teachers to provide daily care for students, supporting interactive and hands-on learning experiences that foster social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Build trusting relationships with staff, children, and families, addressing concerns and communicating student needs promptly.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing evaluations, feedback sessions, and goal-setting to refine teaching practices, staying updated on current research and best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of experience in early childhood education preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and basic proficiency in technology.
