Oil and Gas Facilities Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to join our team at Northeast Natural Energy. As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise for the design, modification, and maintenance of gas production and transportation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise for the design, modification, and maintenance of gas production and transportation facilities
  • Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve operational issues
  • Develop and review engineering drawings and specifications
  • Support project teams with technical expertise during facility construction, commissioning, and turnaround activities
  • Oversee project budgets, schedule, and provide update reports to key members of management
  • Interact with vendors, ordering equipment and materials for multiple facility installations
  • Manage and participate in facility inspections, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, petroleum, civil, or a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Proven experience in facilities engineering, design for well pad sites as well as midstream pipeline gathering and central receipt point station for dry gas operations
  • Understanding of process flow & equipment used on gas production wells
  • Understanding of ASME, ANSI, API, ISA, NACE Specs and Standards
  • Understanding of USDOT/PHMSA Part 192
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
