Cloud DevOps Engineer, Senior

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you will be part of a team creating, architecting, and deploying a platform that enables developers, data scientists, universities, and research institutions to collaborate and create innovative data modeling solutions. You will use your Kubernetes and microservices-based architecture experience to support developers, data scientists, and platform architects. Your expertise in containerization and orchestration tools will help you translate the benefits to customers using the platform. You will also use your DevOps platform experience to rapidly deploy, manage, and secure the CDC Kubernetes environments using zero-trust security practices that support multi-tenant environments.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience with architecting, deploying, and securing applications on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tooling, such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps
- 3+ years of experience using Terraform or CI/CD (IaC) tooling to deploy Azure or AWS services to an enterprise environment
- 3+ years of experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting to automate deployments, infrastructure, and processes for managing the environment
- Experience with container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes, Docker, Docker Swarm, and Azure Functions
- Experience with enterprise security principles and enforcing them at scale
- Knowledge of cloud networking concepts like virtual networks, subnets, DNS, and security groups
- Knowledge with enterprise High Availability and Disaster Recovery methodologies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- HS diploma or GED
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with Prometheus applications
- Experience with log aggregation tools, such as Splunk, Loki, or cloud provider solution
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security constructs
- Azure or AWS Cloud and HashiCorp certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
