About the Department

The Department of Economics and Finance is a dynamic and collaborative unit that values research, teaching, and service. We offer a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, including a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Finance. Our faculty and students engage in various extracurricular activities, such as student clubs, research projects, and competitions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in microeconomics, including introductory and advanced courses
  • Conduct research in applied microeconomics, with a focus on health or labor economics
  • Participate in departmental service, including committee work and advising students
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives in the department

Requirements

  • PhD in Economics or a related field from an AACSB-accredited business school
  • Specialization in microeconomics with a focus on health or labor economics
  • Strong research agenda and excellent teaching skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff

Preferred Qualifications

  • Research and teaching experience in microeconomics
  • Experience with curriculum development and program assessment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
