About the Department
The Department of Economics and Finance is a dynamic and collaborative unit that values research, teaching, and service. We offer a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, including a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Finance. Our faculty and students engage in various extracurricular activities, such as student clubs, research projects, and competitions.
Job Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in microeconomics, including introductory and advanced courses
- Conduct research in applied microeconomics, with a focus on health or labor economics
- Participate in departmental service, including committee work and advising students
- Contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives in the department
Requirements
- PhD in Economics or a related field from an AACSB-accredited business school
- Specialization in microeconomics with a focus on health or labor economics
- Strong research agenda and excellent teaching skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Research and teaching experience in microeconomics
- Experience with curriculum development and program assessment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
