ABLE Home Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team
We are committed to providing high-quality care and support to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As an ABA Therapist, you will play a vital role in implementing effective treatment plans and promoting skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
Responsibilities:- Provide ABA therapy to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction
- Learn and apply ABA therapeutic approaches to working with clients
- Remain enthusiastically and actively engaged with clients during ABA sessions
- Carry out clinical and administrative tasks such as data collection and progress notes
- Work cooperatively with a team of support staff and independently as needed
- Communicate professionally with family, team, and supervisors
- Attend trainings to meet the needs of clients
- Protect the confidentiality of clients and their families
- One year of ABA experience preferred
- Candidates must be 18 years of age
- Associate Degree preferred
- Candidates must pass a Criminal background check and be clear on the Abuse and Neglect registry, as in accordance with ABA regulations
- Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively with individuals and families
- Candidates must have the ability to complete record-keeping as required by the employer
