Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team. As a Behavior Therapist, you will work closely with our experienced team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide high-quality ABA therapy to children with ASD.
Responsibilities- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by our BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client.
- Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, clinics, or community settings.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Collaborate with our BCBAs to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and make necessary adjustments to the intervention plan.
- Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the BIP to address challenging behaviors.
- Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.
- Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Reliable transportation, driver's license, insurance, and smartphone.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to take direction from senior staff members.
