Key Responsibilities:
Oversee, organize, and manage the preparation and presentation of food for all event functions, ensuring exceptional service and culinary quality.
Direct daily culinary operations for events, including meal preparation, food quality oversight, safety adherence, and cost management.
Select and utilize premium food and beverage products, upholding excellence in ingredient standards.
Collaborate with Catering and Events teams to plan and execute food and beverage services for client gatherings.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
Develop and mentor team members, providing leadership, scheduling, coaching, and recognition.
Supervise daily kitchen operations for events and contribute to menu development and planning.
Execute special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a banquet sous chef or chef.
Prior experience in high-end and luxury catering environments.
Formal culinary education or equivalent experience is essential.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented atmosphere.
Strong leadership and management capabilities, with the ability to effectively guide a diverse team.
Union experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
