We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care/Step Down ICU team at Wooster Community Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Progressive Care/Step Down ICU unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Administer medications safely and effectively, using the 6 rights of medication administration.
- Participate in team huddles and rounds to evaluate patient care and identify areas for improvement.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Active license in the State of Ohio.
- Maintain a current AHA (American Heart Association) Healthcare Provider BLS card.
- BSN or ADN degree.
- Experience working in an ICU or progressive care setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Full-time night shift positions available, with three 12-hour shifts per week and every third weekend rotation.
