Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care team in Hematology Oncology. As an RN in this role, you will provide patient-first healthcare and work alongside passionate caregivers to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting
  • Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, and establish care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Initiate CPR and other emergency measures
  • Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings
  • Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment
  • Develop, evaluate, adapt, and document health education and provide it to patients and families
  • Cover other nursing roles within the department
  • Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One year of recent experience as an RN

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
  • IV experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination
  • Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range
  • May require some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids
