Job Overview: The Appointment Scheduler/Coordinator is responsible for organizing appointments and procedures for both inpatient and outpatient services.

Key Qualifications: A high school diploma is required. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of scheduling experience. The role involves educating patients about pre-procedure requirements, including laboratory tests, imaging studies, health assessments, dietary restrictions, and any other pertinent details. Additionally, the coordinator may need to communicate instructions to patients' families as necessary. Follow-up is essential to ensure that patients have completed all required pre-procedure preparations. The coordinator is also tasked with maintaining and updating any changes related to preparations and procedures. Timely transmission of all relevant documentation to the hospital or other facilities is crucial for accurate scheduling of procedures and surgeries.
