Job Title: Entry-Level Developmental Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our care model, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Developmental Therapist to provide high-quality care to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in child development, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized developmental plans and implement them in a 1:1 setting, ensuring comprehensive growth and progress for our clients.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized therapy plans, upholding the principles of the Early Start Denver Model and maintaining fidelity to Soar's model.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, offering regular insights on their child's progress and providing guidance rooted in best child care practices.
Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
  • Works effectively on a team and is able to communicate effectively with colleagues and families.
  • Experience in child care roles such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or related educational experiences (e.g. bachelors in psychology or child development).
