Job Title: Developmental Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team in Arvada, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to work with children with autism and their families. As a Developmental Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individualized therapy plans, teaching new skills, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for children with autism
  • Provide 1:1 therapy sessions, focusing on teaching new skills and promoting comprehensive growth
  • Collaborate with our team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, upholding the principles of the Early Start Denver Model
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights on their child's progress and offering guidance rooted in best child care practices
Qualifications:
  • Experience in child care roles, such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or related educational experiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a talent for building connections with young children and their families
  • Ability to work effectively on a team
