Competitive salary based on experience

Key Responsibilities of Custodial Maintenance Specialist:


Perform mopping, waxing, stripping, and buffing of floors
Shampoo and vacuum carpets
Organize furniture
Sweep and mop floors
Dust surfaces
Wash windows
Thoroughly clean furniture, equipment, fixtures, and hardware
Load items into washers and dryers
Soak contaminated items according to policy
Sort dried items based on identification numbers and type.

Fold and place items into designated bins
Lubricate machines
Repair torn items and verify quantities on laundry lists.
Iron necessary items
Mix dyes and bleaches according to specifications.

Dye and bleach specific items
Read and comprehend equipment operation manuals
Carry out all duties in a manner that prioritizes resident safety
Support and uphold a culture of safety and quality.

Ensure sanitation and quality standards are met; follow detailed written and oral instructions
Address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Adhere to all infection control procedures
Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications for Custodial Maintenance Specialist:


A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
1 year of relevant experience is preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally, with various levels of staff, resident families, and external customers
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

Frequent standing and walking for extended periods may be required.

The employee must routinely lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to utilize a computer, phone, etc. for extended periods.
