Job Summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is seeking a skilled CDL Rear Load Driver to join our team. As a CDL Rear Load Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and hauling waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving and maneuvering skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a rear load truck in a safe and efficient manner, following all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Collect and haul waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant, following established routes and schedules.
  • Provide excellent customer service, interacting with customers and responding to their needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the truck, reporting any issues or concerns to the dispatcher or supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records of routes, deliveries, and customer interactions, using company-provided software and equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers, dispatchers, and support staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class B license with a clean driving record.
  • At least 19 years of age.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
