Job Summary

Rumpke Transportation Company, LLC is seeking a skilled Waste Management Driver to join our team. As a Waste Management Driver, you will be responsible for servicing customers with the collection and hauling of waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Vehicles Safely: Operate all trucks in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Provide Waste Removal Services: Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers by emptying trash/recycling containers into truck and hauling to disposal site.
  • Deliver and Remove Containers: Provide roll off delivery and removal services to customers on assigned route(s) or by work order.
  • Maintain Vehicles: Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body.
  • Log and Record Keeping: Maintain and update route and driver logs.
  • Customer Interaction: Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL: Must have at least a valid Class B CDL.
  • DOT Medical Card: Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire.
  • Age and Experience: Must be at least 19 years of age and have no more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
  • Background and Skills: Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years. Ability to read and understand a map, perform physical requirements of the job, and drive all types of trucks in fleet.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to Weather: Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform prolonged physical exertions, including but not limited to sitting, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours; overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.
