About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Counselor and Family Engagement Specialist to join our team at Good Shepherd Services. In this role, you will work with families and students to identify and address barriers to attendance and academic success. Your primary responsibility will be to provide counseling and support services to help students and families set and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide counseling and support services to students and families
  • Identify and address barriers to attendance and academic success
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
