Financial Planning and Analysis Role

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the financial planning and analysis functions of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide controlling and financial support across various business areas
  • Full support on month-end closing process
  • Creates, organizes and manages daily, weekly and monthly reporting, including financial results as presented to senior management team
  • Manage ad-hoc requests/projects as requested by the Reporting and Controlling Manager
  • Ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable professional standards and organizational policies
  • Monitors balance sheet accounts to ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and 2-5 years of experience in related field or MS/MA and generally 1-3 years of experience in related field
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS Access are assets
  • Knowledge of DHL-specific financial reporting/accounting processes is a plus
  • Very good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
  • Proactive and able to work under pressure
  • Assertive, persistent and able to challenge
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Able to influence, negotiate and resolve conflicts
  • Team player
