Job Title: FP&A Senior Manager

Job Summary:

The FP&A Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the financial planning and analysis functions within National Trench Safety. This position will assist in the coordination and preparation of the company's operational financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. The director will also provide insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of Region, District, and Branch activities, including profitability, KPIs, sales incentive comp structures, rebate and discount tracking, and geographic market trends.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive financial planning and analysis frameworks to support organizational goals.
    • Assist in the preparation of detailed annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and periodic forecasts.
    • Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management.
    • Lead the development of financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning efforts.
    • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify pricing opportunities, understand customer behaviors, and monitor competitor pricing strategies.
  • Operational Leadership:
    • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, departmental heads, and external partners.
    • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data, implementing robust internal controls and processes.
    • Drive process improvements and system enhancements to streamline financial operations and reporting.
  • Strategic Support:
    • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify pricing opportunities, understand customer behaviors, and monitor competitor pricing strategies.
    • Analyze product utilization and service costs to maximize profitability while ensuring competitive positioning in the market.
    • Evaluate the size, scope, and scale of greenfield opportunities to develop a ramp-up strategy for near-term growth and positive returns on investment.
    • Partner with executive leadership to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of long-term business strategies, including mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and market expansions.
    • Prepare and present financial reports, analyses, and recommendations to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
    • Act as a key advisor to the Director of FP&A, CFO, Region Management, and other senior leaders on financial matters, offering data-driven insights and solutions.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and company policies.
    • Monitor and manage financial risks, implementing risk mitigation strategies as needed.
    • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and resolution of any findings.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 8-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related finance role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
