Position Overview
Position Title: Academic Advisor I - Senior Academic Advisor I
Position Type: Staff Full-Time
Department: Graduate Programs

Role Summary:
This role is designed to serve as the primary academic consultant for students enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, primarily focusing on online students. The position reports to the Director of the Graduate School of Management and collaborates with various stakeholders, including program managers and faculty directors.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate student records and provide tailored support and guidance to MBA students.
2. Perform administrative tasks and manage special projects as assigned.
3. Maintain effective communication through email and manage time-sensitive appointments.
4. Represent the Graduate Programs in meetings and assist with the MBA scholarship process.
5. Support the upkeep of online orientation modules and assist faculty with graduate education needs.

Work Environment:
The position allows for flexibility in office location, with the option to work in various settings. However, occasional travel may be required for team events.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Proficiency in computer systems to assist with student enrollment and advisement processes.
- Strong service orientation and ability to engage with a diverse group of individuals in a dynamic environment.

Preferred:
- Master's degree and three years of relevant experience.
