- Operational Excellence: Set a leadership example for others to follow and oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure exceptional quality and service, sustained resident satisfaction, Team Member engagement, operational efficiency, and strong financial results.
- Financial Performance: Develop and monitor the community's annual operating budget and business plan; lead the Executive Team in the execution of both, ensuring achievement of financial targets, quality standards, resident satisfaction, and Team Member engagement.
- Resident Satisfaction: Partner with Directors to ensure that service delivery in each department is consistent with Senior Living Communities standards and applicable regulations.
- Team Member Engagement: Establish and maintain effective communication strategies throughout the community, ensuring timely and effective sharing of information and a culture of openness.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, geriatrics, health care, hospitality, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of five years' experience in a senior living, hospitality, health care, or related setting; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of five years' leadership experience in senior living and/or a multidisciplinary team environment; operations experience in a senior living, hospitality, or residential care environment strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Current and ongoing competence in tasks assigned, indicating a specialized skill in this area above and beyond the average.
- Communication: Ability to effectively and regularly transfer information to necessary parties to improve the quality of work and to provide the supervisor with actionable, accurate data.
- Initiative: Self-motivated and personally competitive, with a desire to achieve for the good of the Company and the team.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing conditions on the fly, navigate obstacles with ease, aplomb, and professionalism.
- Interpersonal Skills: Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; listens to others without interrupting; keeps emotions under control; remains open to ideas and tries new things.
- Teamwork: Balances team and individual responsibilities; encourages others and asks for help when needed.
