Position Summary: The Mechanical Support Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of various field equipment utilized in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment such as irrigation engines and storm pump engines, along with gear heads and drive lines.
  2. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including air guns, impact wrenches, and socket sets, to perform tasks effectively.
  3. Conduct regular cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Schedule and execute routine preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  5. Maintain accurate service and repair documentation for all equipment.
  6. Collaborate with the stock room personnel to order necessary parts and supplies.
  7. Respond promptly to both routine and emergency service requests.
  8. Assist in diagnosing equipment failures and communicate findings to management for further action.
