Mechanic Assistant

As a key member of our team at Cutrale Citrus Juices USA, Inc., the Assistant Mechanic will provide critical support for our field-related equipment, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on irrigation engines, storm pump engines, gear heads, and drive lines.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including air guns, impact wrenches, and sockets, to complete tasks efficiently.
• Conduct regular cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Schedule and execute preventative maintenance tasks to minimize equipment failures and extend lifespan.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the stockroom clerk to procure necessary equipment parts and supplies in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency repair calls, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
• Identify and communicate equipment failures and maintenance needs to management, ensuring proactive decision-making and resource allocation.
