We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide education and support to residents and their families, and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education and support to residents and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care, communicate effectively, and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, including Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACNE), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, communicate effectively, and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
