Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Mount Carmel Health System. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and perform various clinical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign measurements, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Assist with procedures, such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and point-of-care testing.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, allergies, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a LPN in the State of Ohio.
  • One to two years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
