Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical research activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and university regulations, and providing exceptional support to our research staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical research activities, including study recruitment, data management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with research staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of research studies.
  • Develop and maintain study protocols, informed consent forms, and other research-related documents.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and support to research staff on research-related procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical research coordination or a related field.
  • Clinical Research Coordinator certification (CCRC, CCRP, CCRA) or equivalent.
  • Active RN, LPN, CNA, or CMA license.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in human subjects research in participants with neurological disorders.
  • Familiarity with electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) software and other electronic data capture systems.
