Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team in Everett, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Medical Surgical unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for patients with complex medical and surgical needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • BSN required.
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure and Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required.
  • Medical/surgical/telemetry experience strongly preferred.
  • Medical Surgical certification/specialty certification preferred.
  • Adheres to all I C.A.R.E. standards.
