Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team in Everett, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Med Surg unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Medical/surgical/telemetry experience preferred.
- Medical Surgical certification/specialty certification preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
