The Singing River Health System is seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The LPN will be responsible for providing skilled technical nursing care to patients according to predefined standards and a plan of care established by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician. This will involve assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities:- Provide skilled technical nursing care to patients according to predefined standards and a plan of care established by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician.
- Assess patient needs and develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Document patient care and progress in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
- Registered with the Mississippi Board of Nursing licensure for practice in the Licensed Practical Nurse expanded role.
- BCLS certification required completion within 6 months of hiring. Must maintain annual training requirement.
- Appropriate nursing practice/experience within the past three (3) years.
