Job Title: Firewall Administrator Lead

Job Summary:
NexThreat is seeking an experienced Firewall Administrator Lead to provide overall supervision for vendor employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing projects professionally, ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources, and providing accurate and timely reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise network micro-segmentation software application solution support, problem-solving, resource allocation, personnel management, and operation performance monitoring. The Firewall Administrator Lead will work under general supervision, developing product requirements from inception to conclusion, and coordinating with the Vendor PM, PMO, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.

Key Responsibilities:
•⁠ ⁠Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely completion of projects
•⁠ ⁠Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members on firewall and security-related matters
•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firewall and security solutions
•⁠ ⁠Develop and maintain accurate and timely reports to ensure effective project management and resource allocation
•⁠ ⁠Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in firewall and security to ensure the team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills

Requirements:

•⁠ ⁠Five (5) years of relevant DoD experience in firewall and security
•⁠ ⁠Working knowledge of host-based firewalls and industry-standard network environments
•⁠ ⁠Comprehensive knowledge of DOD and DLA security regulations, guidelines, and policies
•⁠ ⁠Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
•⁠ ⁠DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II or IAT III
