Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Activity Assistant to join our team at Regency Manor Healthcare Center. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing activity programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and coordinating activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Encourage resident participation in activities, including games, arts and crafts, and other forms of recreation.
  • Transport residents to and from activities as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment for recreational activities, including the care and storage of equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Activities Director to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
  • Participate in in-service training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote a positive and supportive environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require walking, standing, and lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a healthcare or recreational setting preferred.
