Treasury Accountant

Location: Downtown San Diego - One day a week onsite

Salary: $50-60k + Bonus

As a Treasury Accountant I, you will work within the Treasury department and be responsible for the entry of daily electronic payments, cash-related journal entries, bank reconciliations, and audit inquiries.

• Enter and record daily wire and ACH electronic payments.
• Track and review disbursement activities and ensure reconciliation to system records and bank activities.
• Record journal entries for cash transactions.
• Work directly with banks on setup, closing, and modifying accounts.
• Administer and audit online banking users and signatories.
• Audit and forecast bank fees and interest income.
• Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and month-end closing.
• Analyze cash balances and investment funds on a daily basis.
• Research, resolve, and enter check inquiries and stop payments.
• Prepare Bank Reconciliations and research and resolve any discrepancies.
• Act as backup to other Treasury functions and perform various project-related tasks and other duties as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Insurance industry experience is preferred.
• One (1) or more years related work experience.
