Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for independently assessing and following General GI patients in UHealth clinics in Doral and Uhealth Towers. This is a full-time position requiring 8 half days in outpatient ambulatory clinics. The Physician Assistant or APRN may also be involved in interpretation and dissemination of results to patients for fibroscans performed by the lab.
Key Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to recognize deviations from normal in physical assessment, work collaboratively with physicians in formulating treatment plans, and write prescriptions for medication based on laboratory results. They will also initiate and facilitate clinical research protocols, obtain complete medical histories, and develop and implement plans of care for patients.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a Master's degree in a relevant field, a valid State of Florida PA or APRN License, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Previous experience in GI or Hepatology practice as an RN or PA or APRN is highly desirable.

This is a competitive salary position with a range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
