This role is pivotal in the realm of Counterintelligence and Counterterrorism Vetting (CCV), serving as a Senior Identity Intelligence Analyst and a lead trainer for the Diplomatic Security Identity Assurance System (DSIAS).
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Analysis: Engage in thorough analysis, research, and support for the vetting processes of local national employees and applicants, ensuring alignment with security protocols.
- Utilize Advanced Tools: Employ various databases and analytical techniques to assess individuals who may pose risks to U.S. interests, identifying potential threats and suggesting mitigation strategies.
- Biometric and Biographic Evaluation: Analyze biometric and biographic data to evaluate risks associated with individuals of interest, utilizing the Biometric Identity Intelligence Resource (BI2R).
- Independent Research: Proactively identify and assess threat information, preparing detailed analyses for dissemination to relevant security personnel.
- All-Source Analysis Leadership: Plan and execute in-depth all-source analyses, leveraging both classified and unclassified intelligence sources.
- Threat Mitigation: Ensure timely updates to watch lists for individuals posing threats and communicate findings to Regional Security Officers.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and analyze intelligence data, drawing conclusions based on historical and current trends in security.
- Compliance Assurance: Uphold adherence to legal and regulatory standards set forth by governmental authorities.
- Product Development: Design and prepare tailored identity analytic products, addressing both strategic and tactical identity risks.
- Communication and Liaison: Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to address evolving security needs and priorities.
- Training and Development: Provide training on identity intelligence processes and systems to new analysts and security personnel.
- Travel and Deployment: Participate in overseas assignments to implement DSIAS and provide on-ground support for identity intelligence initiatives.
- Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in intelligence analysis or related fields.
- At least two years of direct experience in identity intelligence analysis.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, International Affairs, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in utilizing intelligence databases and analytical systems.
- Strong communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
- Ability to navigate complex tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Must possess a valid U.S. citizenship and appropriate security clearance.
This position primarily operates within high-threat environments, requiring adaptability and resilience in challenging conditions.
