We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Office Coordinator to join our team at Athletico Physical Therapy. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and physical therapy staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage clinic scheduling to ensure optimal patient flow and match patients with the best clinician for their needs.
- Provide new patient onboarding, including facility tours, data gathering, and physical therapy staff introductions.
- Obtain verification of patient medical insurance information and manage patient insurance requirements.
- Coordinate communication of patient progress to physicians, nurse case managers, adjusters, and attorneys.
- Assist with management of patient expectations based on clinical findings and serve as a contact for physical therapy post-care needs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent customer service skills and proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and Excel.
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
