We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Insurance Assistant to join our team at Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT). As a Commercial Lines Insurance Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Commercial Lines Account Managers and Producers in maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with a variety of tasks related to servicing Commercial Lines Accounts, including updating policies, taking payments, and answering customer inquiries.
- Provide exceptional service to existing clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Support Account Managers in gathering necessary data for new business, quoting new policies, and processing renewals and cancellations.
- Review audits and policies, verifying accuracy and facilitating corrections as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of inquiries, comments, and actions taken.
- Collaborate with team members and participate in meetings as needed to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Hold a current Property & Casualty insurance license and have a minimum of two years of insurance experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating professionally and building strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of insurance products and services.
- Exhibit strong customer focus, excellent phone manner, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills.
- Have excellent time management skills, a personal accountability mindset, and technology and computer proficiency, including agency management systems, rating tools, and carrier website navigation.
$15.00 per hour
