Job Summary

Maldonado Nursery & Landscaping, Inc. is seeking a skilled Laborer/Driver to join our team. As a Laborer, you will provide landscape maintenance, irrigation, and construction support to various industrial, commercial, and public properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labor tasks in landscape, irrigation, or construction projects.
  • Operate commercial-grade landscaping equipment and maintain plant material and other landscaping elements.
  • Ensure a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing the area each day.
  • Perform materials handling and storage, loading and unloading trucks, and hauling and hoisting materials.
  • Properly and safely prune shrubs and low trees, lay sod, plant, mow, trim, dig, rake, prune, mulch, and install sprinklers.
  • Plant and maintain flower beds, and properly operate edgers and line trimmers.
  • Pick up trash and blow leaves and other organic debris onto the turf before mowing, and mulch the leaves and organic matter when mowing.
  • Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe.
  • Maintain a polite, friendly, and responsive demeanor with customers.
  • Bring problems to the attention of the foreman, safety director, or HR manager.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and core values at all times.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of landscaping experience required.
  • Spanish is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license is preferred.
