Job SummaryThe Surgical Technician will assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for surgical procedures. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, including setting up equipment and supplies.
- Provide support to surgical teams during procedures, including passing instruments and equipment.
- Maintain aseptic technique and ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
- Graduate of a surgical technician program or equivalent experience.
- 1 year of experience as a surgical technician preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Surgical Technology Certification preferred.
